3. Payment

  • An advance is payable at confirmation. The balance is payable before or at the start of the journey, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Extra kilometres, extra days, waiting time and excluded charges incurred during the trip are payable at the end of the trip.
  • Payments may be made by UPI, bank transfer or cash against a receipt. Always collect a receipt for cash payments.

4. Driver Duty Hours & Night Halt

  • Normal driving hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Hill routes are not driven after dark for safety reasons.
  • The driver is entitled to adequate rest. Night halt charges apply for every night the vehicle stays outside its base station.
  • Where the package does not include it, passengers arrange or pay for the driver's accommodation.

5. Luggage & Passengers

  • Passenger count must not exceed the seating capacity on the vehicle's registration certificate. Children occupying a seat are counted as passengers.
  • Luggage is limited by boot space. Extra luggage may require a larger vehicle at additional cost.
  • Belongings are carried at your own risk. Check the vehicle before you leave; we are not responsible for items left behind.

6. Conduct During the Journey

Smoking, alcohol and any illegal substance are strictly not permitted inside the vehicle. Carrying prohibited goods will end the trip immediately without refund.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, landslide, roadblock, weather, vehicle checking, strike, VIP movement or similar conditions outside our control.
  • Char Dham travel depends on temple opening dates, registration rules, weather and administration orders. Itineraries may be adjusted accordingly.

8. Breakdown & Vehicle Replacement

If the vehicle breaks down, we will repair it or arrange a replacement of similar type as quickly as conditions allow. Where a replacement is not possible, the unused portion of the vehicle hire is refunded on a pro rata basis. We do not compensate for consequential losses such as missed hotel nights, flights or darshan slots.

9. Third Party Services

Hotels, guides, helicopter services, pony and palki operators and similar services arranged on your request are provided by independent third parties. Their own terms apply and we act only as a facilitator for those bookings.

10. Insurance & Liability

  • All vehicles carry valid insurance as required by law. Passenger claims arising out of a road accident lie against the insurer under applicable motor vehicle rules.
  • Travel in hill regions carries inherent risk. Passengers travel at their own risk and should carry personal travel and medical insurance.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount paid to us for that booking.

11. Cancellation

Cancellation and refund are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
